New York: Capturing Diversity

New York is comprised of more than 150 neighbourhoods which house 8.6 million people. Roughly one quarter of them are African American, 15% a race other than white. The Big Apple is often criticised because it is too crowded, dirty and expensive. Overrated? At other times it is called the capital of the world. Opinions differ. Yet, while walking the streets of New York City you can’t help but realise its immense diversity and smile at the level of acceptance with which people approach each other.
